Greetings!
Spring is definitely in the air! I hope all of you are out enjoying the gorgeous sunshine! Bring on the Vitamin D! After all of the rain we have had, this sunshine just feels incredible! Is there anything better then working up a sweat in the California sunshine?
Neither rain nor wind slowed the Baby Boot Camp moms down! After three months of hard work and lots of sweat, the Mother Love Fitness Challenge has come to an end. The results are amazing!
Our group logged 600.25 miles for April! We lost a total of 40 inches and 43 pounds! If you see moms in the local area strutting down the sidewalk then you know why! You all look fabulous! For those of you who have put off meeting your fitness needs, remember it is NEVER too late to start meeting your fitness goals! Feel free to email me for tips on how to get started and fit it into your busy schedules! It can be done and Baby Boot Camp can show you the way!

| Mother Love Fitness Challenge 2010
Results
You have walked, jogged, run, and worked yourselves hard over the last three months. I am so proud of each and every one of you. I know that life can sometimes throw curve balls, but all of you lost weight, lost inches, and persevered. Simply outstanding! You should be proud of your accomplishments! I know that I am!
For the month of April, our focus was on cardiovascular work. The prenatal and postpartum group logged 600.25 miles this month! Any way you slice it, that is impressive!
Congratulations to:
- Erin Inan for having the most miles logged for April AND the fastest 1/2 mile time!
- Logged miles: 109.4
- 1/2 mile time: 3:31
* Note- This time was thrown down while pushing a double stroller
(YES, I said DOUBLE) with her 3 1/2 year old son and 1 year old
daughter.
Outstanding job!
You have won a Whole Foods gift card.
- Lindsay Koenig for having the highest amount of attendance and adherence points in April. Lindsay is pregnant with her second child and hasn't let that slow her down one bit! Great job Lindsay! You have won a Strollometer so that you can properly break in your Bob double jogger in the near future!
GRAND FINALE RESULTS
Congratulations to:
- Jillian Simms for losing the most inches (6.25 inches). You have worked hard, exceeded your goals for the competition, and did it all with a smile on your face and your two children in tow. Here's your cape Mrs. Superwoman!
You have won a pedicure to Jolie Madame! Let the pampering begin!
- Susie Werner for losing the most pounds at 10 pounds! Outstanding! You managed to do this while juggling your two children, working full time outside of the home, and fighting back when life was threatening to derail your workouts!
Thanks to those who participated in a great challenge! I can't wait to make it bigger AND better next year!

Bring your whole family and come join in the fun!
There will be free massages and goodies in our tent!
Let us pamper you post race!
There is also kid friendly fun run! Start time for the kids is 10AM.
The Running of the Calves Races, paced by the "Cows", are for all kids 10 and under.
Kicking off with a "diaper derby" for the littlest kids on all fours, each age-group race is a dash around the Gunn Track. Hosted by Coach Joy of the Jackrabbits' Track and Field Club, the Running of the Calves Races are well-organized yet informal enough to put fun first and give every child a chance to shine.
Bring the whole family and stay after the race for pampering, yummy food, and more fun!
Let's start Mother's Day off right by working up a sweat while cheering each other on and then enjoying some pampering in the Baby Boot Camp tent.
