Raffle tickets are being sold for the boat and a new trailer as a fundraiser for 2011. The raffle drawing will take place later in the year. You can also speak with and observe volunteer members who are restoring a Beetle Cat, a 12-foot gaff rigged sailboat. The builder of a wood kayak will also be on hand to explain how you can build your own kayak. Other classic sail and rowboats will be on display, including a Herreshoff 12.5.
No admission charge. Handicap parking.

Catspaw Dinghy & Trailer For Sale
The raffle boat for 2010, a Catspaw Dinghy and trailer won by Betty Pyne of Montauk, is being offered for sale by Betty. The boat will be on display during the annual meeting and Spring Open House. Betty Pyne purchased a raffle ticket last year to support The East End Classic Boat Society, never expecting to win. While she appreciates the workmanship that went into the boat, she wants to find a good home for the Catspaw Dinghy where it will be equally appreciated and also enjoyed.
