Young Adults Living in Christian Community
The week of September 10 we welcome four young adults who will be moving into our church apartment. They are the first group of Young Adult Service Communities participants to live in Seattle. The YASC is a United Church of Christ (UCC) program that has a growing number of locations around the United States, providing yearly opportunities for hands on justice work, faith conversation, and community living.

Men's Retreat a Great Success!
The first annual All Pilgrims Christian Church Men's Retreat was a complete success! As eleven pilgrims gathered at church that Friday afternoon to depart for the weekend, the excitement in the air was palpable. Everyone was talking about all the good the weekend's retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city would bring.

Nametags Re-Organized
After several years of observing Parishioner's hunting for their name tag every Sunday morning, the name tag ribbons in the Narthex have been rearranged alphabetically by FIRST name. Letters are posted above and below for quick reference. (First name sort is used because it is the only name printed on some tags.)
A new ribbon has been added on the far right side for newbies to pick up their name tags.
We hope this arrangement will expedite the flow of Parishioners into the church. In the near future, we will lengthen the ribbons to accommodate the more popular letters as the church population grows, and for easier access at the lower levels. Comments or suggestions are welcome regarding this change. Just tell the Greeter as you enter or leave the Narthex.
