2) Graduate School Scholarship Opportunity (2010-2011 Academic Year)

The 2010-2011 Washington City/County Management Association Scholarship is a $2,500 educational fellowship for the 2010-2011 academic year. One graduate student from a Washington, Oregon or Idaho university will be awarded $2,000 to be used for his or her school related expenses. In addition, the recipient will be awarded:
  • WCCMA membership
  • Up to $500 towards WCMA Summer Conference attendance, August 17-20, Sun Mountain Lodge, Winthrop, WA
  • International City/County Management (ICMA) may offer complimentary membership and discounted attendance at their annual conference, October 17-20, in San Jose/Santa Clara County, California; and
  • Mentoring by a city or county manager
