MEET OUR TEAM
Corissa Dill - Underwriter
Corissa was born in Mission Hills and raised right here in Valencia. Her father Michael is a debt collector & a musician. Her mother is a hairdresser & SPIN/Yoga Instructor. Corissa has a younger brother (the best ever) named Stuart. Growing upCorissa enjoyed reading, socializing with her mom's customers, exploring the wide open spaces with friends.
Corissa attended college in New Orleans at Tulane University. Go Green Wave!! She worked retail throughout her college career, in addition to being a Resident Advisor and teaching SPIN at the gym on campus. After college, Corissa continued working in New Orleans until Katrina. After going through that, she decided to head back to sunny So Cal to be close to family. She continued to work in the retail arena until her father suggested she make use of her degree and seek greener pastures. Though the insurance industry was foreign to her, she has always been interested in helping others. Cal Landess was Corissa's neighbor while growing up and he continues to be a family friend. She had always been aware of his love for his profession, and knew that she was math minded & detail oriented enough to be able to take on this new challenge. PGIA & National Indemnity welcomed her in June of 08. In her free time Corissa enjoys spending time with her family & their two pitbulls (Suzy Cream Cheese and Tsavo), quality time with friends, yoga, reading, playing guitar, singing with her Dad, singing with GRIT (a band) & traveling whenever she has the opportunity.
Corissa says, "I've been a part of the Berkshire family now for nearly 4 years, (including my time w/See's Candies) and I am so happy to be in a position within a company where I'm surrounded by experienced professionals with a wealth of knowledge for me to pull from. Everyday is a new challenge, and there isn't a day that goes by that I'm not grateful for the opportunity I've been given." |
