MOBILE CONCESSION                                                
Mobile concession trucks are vehicles used to transport prepared and packaged food for sale. They may also transport such items as t-shirts or souvenirs for sale. or transport the equipment used to prepare food at various locations - like a lunch truck.
 
Product Features
  • Auto liability, physical damage, medical payments, and UM/UIM
  • Hired auto liability and physical damage
  • Non-owned auto liability 
  • DMV filing included
  • New ventures
  • Poor driving records

Limits Available

  • Up to $1M CSL Liability
  • Up to $1M CSL UM/UIM
  • Up to $1M Hired and Non-owned Liability
  • Up to $5K Medical Payments
  • Physical Damage, with up to $1M TIV

SPECIAL EVENT
 
We have two products that will make any special event memorable. The products are "The Main Event" and "The Host". The Main Event is designed to cover general liability and/or liquor liability at short term events. The Host Product is designed is designed for special events featuring host liquor liability exposures when purchased with the general liability.
 
 
Product Features
  • Automatic coverage for volunteers, temporary or leased workers and committee members
  • Food and beverage product liability included in the general aggregate
  • Separate limits for Host Liquor Liability and General Liability Exposures (for The Host)
  • Convenience of one policy for General Liability and Host Liquor Liability (for The Host)
  • No deductibles
  • Expanded definition of bodily injury to include mental anguish
  • Medical payments coverage
  • Coverage for damage to rented premises
  • Personal & advertising injury is included
Optional Coverage
  • Property owner may be included as additional insured at no additional premium
  • Set-up and take-down coverage
  • Rain date coverage

Limits Available

  • Up to $1,000,000 each common cause/$2,000,000 aggregate
  • Medical Payments - $1,000 with $50,000 aggregate
  • Damage to premises rented to you - $100,000

Minimum Premium

  • For $1mm/$2mm limits = $295
  • For $500k/$1mm limits = $250

MEET OUR TEAM
 
 
Cal Landess - General Manager 
 

Cal Landess is the General Manager of Pacific Gateway Insurance Agency. He brings a wealth of experience to the job. He has been in the industry for over 40 years, working in marketing, underwriting and management.

 

Cal began his insurance career working part-time during his high school summers in the supply room at National Indemnity Company (NICO) in Omaha, NE.  He began full time employment at NICO as a rate checker/coder and worked his way up to assistant territorial underwriter before leaving NICO to gain experience with other carriers. At the young age of 27, Cal was made the Branch Manager of his first company branch office in Denver, CO. In 1978, Cal entered the wholesale community in Denver for a company called A.N.G.A.  In 1982, he moved to Los Angles to take over ANGA's Entertainment Division (Film & Music).

 

Starting in 1988, Cal was in charge of the three Southern California Crump offices until July of 1995, when chosen to begin Pacific Gateway Insurance Agency.

 

Cal lives in Valencia, CA with his wife Marsha, who is the CEO of a Medical Practice Management company. Cal and Marsha have five children and six grandchildren who keep them busy and happy. The family enjoys golfing, boating, reading and time with grandchildren.  

 

As the leader of PGIA, Cal shares his experience and knowledge with agency employees and enjoys his job immensely. Cal has been known to say, "I am lucky, I look forward to coming to work everyday.  I appreciate and respect those that I work with and feel passionate about the insurance industry. I find great reward in providing guidance that helps our producers place coverage for their clients, while protecting their assets, and producing an underwriting profit for Berkshire Hathaway."
