DERRY HOLIDAY PARADE
We would like thank all the fourth grade classes that participated in our parade theme contest. A great selection of themes were submitted for this year's parade to be held on Saturday, November 26th, 2011. This year's Derry Holiday Parade Committee selected Mrs. Landry's
class with their nomination of, "Holiday TV Classics Come To Life!" The committee provided this Mrs. Landry's class with a pizza party in their classroom at Derry Village School on June 17th.
This theme is sure to provide many fun and creative ideas for floats. If you are interested in participating in this years Holiday Parade call the Chamber today, 432-8205.

President's Letter Our Chamber's latest event; a joint venture put together by our Government Connections Committee with the Greater Hudson Chamber was a great success. Even though it was a day of heavy rain, Tupelo Music Hall was filled and Dennis Delay gave an informative lecture on New Hampshire's shifting economic landscape. The future is looking brighter for the New Hampshire business community than our neighboring states and our Chamber is doing a great job continuing to bring pertinent information to our membership. I'm proud to have been President these past two years and thank you for your support of the Chamber. In January Bill Parnell will be taking the Chamber forward. I've heard his ideas, they are progressive and the path ahead is well laid out. With your continued support we will continue to assist the community and grow. Before I sign off I want to personally invite you to attend our Annual Dinner on October 26th. It would be great to see everyone there. -Gary Van Geyte |
