DERRY HOLIDAY PARADE
We would like thank all the fourth grade classes that participated in our parade theme contest. A great selection of themes were submitted for this year's parade to be held on Saturday, November 26th, 2011.
This year's Derry Holiday Parade Committee selected Mrs. Landry's
class with their nomination of, "Holiday TV Classics Come To Life!" The committee provided this Mrs. Landry's class with a pizza party in their classroom at Derry Village School on June 17th.
This theme is sure to provide many fun and creative ideas for floats. If you are interested in participating in this years Holiday Parade call the Chamber today, 432-8205. |

Despite The Quick Change In Weather
EVERYONE ENJOYED THIS SOLD OUT TOURNAMENT
On Thursday, June 9 at Brookstone Golf Park, 90 golfers converged on to a meticulous course with high hopes of hitting a hole in one. With five chances to win big prizes, ($10,000 cash - big!), and a number of activities going on at the holes, spirits were great. When a quick storm rolled in and the course had to be cleared, we all had a chance to cool off in the bar before dinner. A number of members joined the golfers for a Business After Hours which ended with Eddie Leon of La Carreta winning the 50/50 raffle, which he generously donated to the Greater Derry Boys and Girls Club, and Kim Santos of Santos Insurance & Financial Services winning the Fun Bounce House Rental donated by Seth Fragala of Financial Insurance Services.
