Greetings!

A new magical relationship with time. You want that? It is amazing.
This "time issue" has been a real lesson for me. I used to always mention how I would never be caught up in my life. That frazzled feeling only compounded by talking about it. So I stopped talking about it.
I now tell myself the words, often out loud, "I have plenty of time. There is an abundance of time." Saying those words calms me. Instead of scrambling from task to task in a frantic pace, I take a deep breath and remind myself that there is more than enough time to get it all done.
The second change I made was to stop multitasking. Giving full attention to one thing makes that one thing flow easier. It actually gets down quicker and then I move on to the next thing on my to-do list.
The third thing is the aforementioned to-do list. Writing it down gets it out of my head. Seeing it all clearly makes it easier to tackle one thing at a time and not stress that "I have SO much to do." It always seem more manageable on paper than when all the to-dos are bouncing off each other in my head.
The last tweak I have made in my previously scurry-hurry mindset is to slow down. I used to try to knock things out as quickly as possible just to get-er-done. Now I have learned to take a breath, go a little slower in the beginning of whatever chore I am doing to get my head and heart into the game, and focus solely and slowly on whatever is before me.
The magic happens.
I get thing done. I feel completion. Marking things off the to-do list feels so good. I do a good focused job the first time so I do not have to tackle it again down the road, and I move on to the next thing with my whole head and heart.
Slowing down actually gets things done quicker. That is why I call it magic.
Words to Ponder:
"If you pay attention at every moment, you form a new relationship to time. In some magical way, by slowing down, you become more efficient, productive, and energetic, focusing without distraction directly on the task in front of you. Not only do you become immersed in the moment, you become that moment. "

It doesn't matter if you have been divorced a long time or if this is new territory. Maybe you are in the tangled mess of emotion and questions right now. If you still feel sad, angry, confused, lost, alone, bitter, guilty, hurt, scared, numb, depressed, don't you want to start getting rid of that?
You can.
This one evening can be the start of true, deep, lasting healing.
Learning to honor you and your happiness is where it all begins.
If you or someone you know needs to learn to let go and move forward, join me October 5.
Life is a journey, and for many of us, divorce is part of that journey. This life transition can be the blossoming of a new you, the real you. The you that came here to feel joy and inner peace.
This "workshop" is includes techniques from science of happiness, law of attraction, life experience, and a bit of whimsical love to send you home with tools to use when the old emotions rise up.
Let this one evening be a jumpstart to your joy.
I want you to know it gets better. YOU get so much better. See you October 5.

I just gotta tell you some exciting news --- I am doing a national teleseminar (that's me giving a JOY program via telephone for lots of listeners - you can join in too!) on September 29 (more info to come) as part of a promotional event for the new book that I am included in "Smart Women Live Their Why"! (Book available soon!)
What is your why? Are you living it?
Live joyfully,
Kelly
PARTING SHOT:
"Women who live the life of their dreams don't get there by being dainty and darling. They demand what they want and do what it takes to make it happen. [That] could mean breaking a few rules, a few hearts and a few habits along the way, especially the habit of apologizing for who you are." - Laurie Sue Brockway
