Are you living the depth of your life, or just scratching the surface?
Last year at this time, I was in Ireland (some of you were there too.) We learned how to drink Guinness and Bulmers like the locals, and we saw much of that gorgeous country.
In the twelve months since, the Happiness Club has launched, my joy work has expanded, an Italy trip is in the works for this May, we're planning a dance party to celebrate our May 1 wedding (details to come soon), I eat more vegetables, I stopped drinking Coke, we're learning how to play singing bowls....
The wonders never cease. Most of the things that have occurred this past year have surprised me, yet I am thrilled. Being open and trusting has opened doors to new adventures I did not even have the capacity to dream about.
I've learned that we cannot predict what exactly the future will hold, and that it can be better than we dare to think.
What has made you happy this past year? What has made you excited? What has you interested, curious, wondering? Be willing to learn something new and see where it will take you. Be willing to be deeply satisfied and grateful. Be willing.

Embarking on a new path
What would you do if I did not include my joy droppings? A tinge of disappointment perhaps? I LOVE sharing my joy with you. I want to hear from you too. There will be a little book of the big and subtle joys, a compilation with my commentary, you can be named or an anonymous contributor, your choice. The first influx of joy contributions has waned so I am gently nudging you (nudge, nudge nudge) to be sharing, if you are so incline. I need more, more, more. (Did you just do a Billy Idol Rebel Yell?) Pretty please keep sending in YOUR Joy Droppings! We will create a lovely book come end of this year. |

FYI- Rockford Christian basketball team is still undefeated and heading to state. First time in school history. Friday night at 6:30 pm do the Royal Riot chant: I believe that we will win.
