Fall into FUN!

Ohh mmmm gee, I've been having a ton of fun lately!Life should be fun. To my knowledge, there's no law against it. I have learned, however, that there is a law against parking one's car facing the wrong way. Who knew? Not me. Getting a ticket is not fun, but taking a picture of the incident makes it more fun. 

I've been on/in a whirlwind of fun and I've decided to keep the momentum going.

Find a way to play and have some fun every day.

The high school homecoming week of silliness and activities is fun. Outfitting is fun. Watching the creation of homemade designer duds is fun.

Road tripping is fun. Going to places I've never been is fun. Staying at B&Bs with interesting hosts is fun. Exploring new towns is fun. Taking in a show is fun. (Cole Porter's "Anything Goes" is delightful, de-lovely, and fun.)

Dance Party is FUN! We proved the hypothesis to be true: Dancing does shake away the blues. Wearing a fringey top that does its own little shimmy dance is fun; getting hooked on everyone's buttons is kind of fun too.

Happiness Club is fun. We laugh a lot, and we learn. Come, give it a whirl. If you're not local, I can help you find one or start one.

Hosting a young woman from Pakistan was so much fun! I'll talk more next week, but the blog link below discusses a bit on how we bonded at the Pumpkin Patch. Who knew improved foreign relations could come about via launching pumpkins!

I could go on and on about all the fun I've been enjoying, but you get the drift. We have a choice. Choose fun instead. Find a way to inject some fun into your daily routine. Silly, small, and simple is all it takes.

Rake the leaves and jump in them. Go for a walk and just kick up the leaves. Take in the fall colors and marvel at the beauty. Stay in the moment. What can you do today to have a little more fun?

My idea of fun and yours may be completely different. Maybe launching pumpkins and blasting corn cobs doesn't do it for you. (My money says it will.) Listen to what makes you shout, "OMG, this is so much fun!"
