 Having fun yet?

I've already informed my sons that summber break will be done in two months. They did not want to hear that! I instructed them to focus on what they want to do/get done this summer and to do it now.

This is the time for the All-American Road Trip. Grab a friend and hit the open road. Pack sandwiches before you go and always have the camera ready.

If you go with family, it can be a character developing experience. If you go with friends, the same. Regardless, summer is the time for bonding, with our loved one and  our pets.

In the hot fun of summertime, hit the road.
Maybe I'll join you.

Words to Ponder:
"Are we there yet?"
JOY = artwork by patricia loya AND chocolate

Three times this week I have unwrapped my bite size Dove dark chocolate to find this quote, so I think the universe is telling me to share it with you. Or maybe I need to cut back on my chocolate.

"There's something more powerful than chocolate: Hope."

People think I'm disciplined. It is not discipline.
It is devotion. There is a great difference.

The older I get, the less I pay attention to what people say or think or hope.
I notice what they do, how they Live, and what they work for.
--Robert Fulghum

(He was the guy who wrote "Everything I need to know I learned in kindergarten.")

Think about it: Does what you say jive with what you live?

Last week's Jessica's Daily Affirmation video got lots of feedback. I think we should watch it daily and then do our own.
She kept it up, listing everything she is thankful for, in this deleted scene.

Word of the Day: Busk (Verb)

Pronunciation: ['bsk]

Definition: To play music or entertain on the street for money.

Suggested Usage: Today's word can be used pejoratively, but busking is, in fact, a proud tradition in many European cities, and some fine music can be heard on street corners and city centers across the continent: "Harry and Harriet busked their way across Europe and returned home with enough money left over to start their own nightclub."

Dr. Language, yourDictionary.com

I love street buskers!
