Greetings & Salutations!
Dr. Pepper and Chips Ahoy, the breakfast of champions. Or college students.
I sorta vowed I would kick my Coca-Cola habit this year. Switching to Dr. Pepper is not the answer. And one cannot "sorta vow." When the preacher asks, "Do you take this woman ...?" no woman wants to hear the reply, "Well, sorta."
Life is short and I don't want to deny myself the simple pleasures, one of which, for me, is Coke. So if I cut back on my consumption, and eat better and work out, an occasional cola is okay. And every day is occasional. ;)
Balance is the key to life. Do you agree?
"Try not to become a person of success, but rather try to become a person of value."

Lyrics to love |
Life's A Dance ~John Michael Montgomery (1992)
(Songwriters: Allen Shamblin/Steve Seskin)
When I was fourteen I was falling fast For a blue eyed girl in my homeroom class Trying to find the courage to ask her out Was like trying to get oil from a waterspout What she would have said I can't say I never did ask and she moved away But I learned something from my blue eyed girl Sink or swim you gotta give it a whirl
Life's a dance you learn as you go Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow Don't worry about what you don't know Life's a dance you learn as you go

Sage Advice |
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

(I hope you are showing serious symptoms of inner peace! Thanks, Don Morrison, for sharing.)
Some signs and symptoms of inner peace:
* A tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past experiences.
* An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment.
* A loss of interest in judging other people/judging self.
* A loss of the ability to worry. (This is a very serious symptom.)
* Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation.
* Contented feelings of connectedness with others and nature.
* Frequent attacks of smiling.
* An increased susceptibility to the love extended by others as well as the uncontrollable urge to extend it.

Word Nerd |
Humor, humour (noun)
Pronunciation: ['hyu-mr]
Definition: 1) Bodily fluids and semi-fluids such as blood, lymph, or glandular secretions that excite a response; the fluids of the eye; 2) The comical, what is funny and anything that causes it; also, a mood..
Usage: 1) The word is used in the sense of "bodily fluids" mostly in medicine and biology; 2) In Britain it is spelt "humour;" in the U. S. it is spelled "humor."
Suggested Usage: The meaning "bodily fluid" is still in use, especially in medicine, and can enrich our speech: "He makes me so mad that all my humors boil!" You may also use it as an alternative to that well-worn stand-by "mood": "What is your humor today?"
Etymology: Medieval physiologists held that four bodily fluids: blood, phlegm, choler, and melancholy (black choler) controlled our disposition and health, whence the meaning "mood." To be out of humor was to be in a bad mood but to be in one's humor was to be happy.
