Tis the season to be joyful.
Let's make it a year round thing.
|
Walking in a winter wonderland? Check.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow? Check.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas? Check.
We had the first snow day of the year. This Birch tree did the splits:

Lyrics to love:
that wars would never start
and time would heal all hearts
and everyone would have a friend
and right would always win
and love would never end

Tis the season for being the best decked house on the block....

I am blessed with a great network of caring, creative people. These words of advice resonated with me. Thanks, Dancing SuperGoddess Debby.
"Hang in there. Actually while you're hanging in there, take a look at the world from the upside down view- not everybody gets to see it- some close their eyes while they are there!"
So if you ever find yourself hanging upside down sometime, keep your eyes open and take in the view. |
If you are one to complain about the snow, or complain in general, or get hung up on the negative, listen to this song:

I hate housework! You make the beds, do the dishes and six months later you have to do it all over again.

WORD NERD
Maieutics (noun)
Pronunciation: [mey-'yu-tiks]
Definition: The Socratic method of teaching by helping someone articulate ideas already in their mind; intellectual midwifery.
Usage: Today's voweliferous word denotes an approach to teaching that has survived for 2500 years. Socrates believed that all humans innately possess the concepts necessary for understanding the world.
Socrates did not give answers; rather, he asked carefully articulated questions that led his students, step by step, to logical conclusions.
Etymology: Greek maieutikos "midwifery" from maieuesthai "to act as midwife, help in delivery" based on maia "respected mother, midwife." The Greek term shares the same origin with "mama" and was used as a term of respect when addressing older women.
