I know it's Halloween, but let's talk angels.
I believe in angels. They are all around me. Some are embodied here in my physical realm and some I can't see but I know they are are. Take a minute and think of all the angels in your life. Be grateful.
Words to ponder:
Those who enter the gates of heaven
are not beings who have no passions
or who have curbed the passions,
but those who have cultivated an understanding of them.
~William Blake |

Special surprises too! |
In my weekly newspaper column, I made a brief mention of my son ordering a Glowman costume online and all we received were the glow sticks but no jumpsuit. (The idea is that he glows in the dark and looks like a stick person.) My column gets posted online. Somewhere, somehow, a corporate Glowman rep read it and responded. A suit is being overnighted to us in time for parties. How festive is that! Yay to the power of the press and Yay to the Glowman people.
If you look for the good in people - glow people included - you will find it.
A few days before, I'd written my blog for healthyrockford.com on the same wave. There is such a thing as a free lunch. Read here.
And yes, Virginia, there is free candy too, on trick-or-treat night.

This may be the shortest JOY letter ever. Gotta go take care of business; you know, scrounging up lizard tails, bat wings, and frogs. Maybe I 'll just go for a pomegranate martini instead.
Thank you . You bring me joy. More next time.
joyfully,
