Greetings!
We are officially into Spring!
I am happy to report that my "Spring Cleaning" is progressing nicely! My home office closet had been a complete disaster and I recently buckled down and threw out or gave away the stuff I don't need. I then hired Judi Warren to help me organize all my supplies, paperwork, binders and photo albums.
Judi is GREAT! Read more about her below- she's in the SPOTLIGHT this month.
This month, we continue with our Life Balance series. It's Tip #4: Embrace Your Unique Self & Stop Comparing Yourself to Others. This practice is powerful when we women really get hold of it.

Tip #4: Embrace Your Unique Self and Stop Comparing Yourself to Others
Too often we women focus comparing ourselves to others, especially other women. This can be a huge self-inflicted disadvantage. It quickly throws off our sense of balance and focus on what's really important (last month's Life Balance tip #3 article).
Perhaps you have been resentful of someone else's success or obsessed about how much more "together" she appears to be. You may even be trying to keep up with all the trendy, fashionable things that a coworker, friend or celebrity wears. All of this can be exhausting- not to mention painful to the bank account or credit card balance!

Professional Organizer
Owner, Designing Order |
|
What is Designing Order all about? Providing clients an easy, almost stress free way to de-clutter offices, homes, garages, and storage sheds so items can be located quickly.
My tag line is ORGANIZE TODAY, LOCATE IT TOMORROW!
How many years in business?
Six. One year in Southern CA, San Marcos; prior to that, five years in Northern CA, Chico, above Sacramento.
How to get started with your services?
I start with a consultation in order to see the space and layout, to listen to the client's particular concerns and to assess the situation based on my organizing skills and knowledge.
Your typical client?
Most of my clients are professional women that end up working in their "home office" 24-7 because paperwork, etc. has migrated throughout their house and every room is a reminder of the work undone; they no longer have a haven or relaxing space anywhere.
Success stories?
Here are a few words from just one of my clients:
Susan, quilting hobby: "I can make quilts without patterns now; I just look at my shelves of organized fabric and quilts come to life right before my eyes."
