Finish Strong
 Think back to the start of 2008 when you made New Year's resolutions or goals.
What did you set out to accomplish this year? Maybe you have been working on a few goals and have made some great progress. Perhaps you have completed several of your goals for the year. Maybe you realize you haven't even thought about the goals you set at the start of the year.
Whatever the case may be, the year is already coming to a close (can you believe it?) and we all have the same number of calendar days to work with. What will you do with these remaining 31 days of 2008?

Tell me about Gloves For Love (GFL). What is it all about? What inspired you to launch GFL?
My meaningful, passionate adventure all began in
October 1993.
A family member of mine was diagnosed with cancer. I was inspired to create a new gift to send to her. I wanted something other than flowers (they die) or balloons (they deflate). I was moved to get out of bed at 3:00am and I started drawing boxing gloves.
The next day I called in sick at work, bought a pair of boxing gloves and started designing what is GLOVES FOR LOVE.
GLOVES FOR LOVE is art made from the Heart, transforming Boxing Gloves into Art for displaying Motivation, Inspiration and Well Power. GLOVES FOR LOVE lets someone know they are a Knock Out or have done a Knock Out Job!
Think about it. Everyone is fighting something or working hard to achieve something!
Every day we are fighting to win the battle of addiction, physical or mental illness, depression, AIDS, substance abuse, arthritis, premature birth, birth defects, cancer, diabetes, divorce, heart attacks/disease, homelessness, hunger, Parkinson's, rehabilitation and more.
Many are fighting to win during these tough economic times, working toward losing a large amount of weight or a single parent working two jobs to pay the bills. We all need some extra fighting power and encouragement to keep going.
Launch Your Life talks with women in a variety of professional stages in their career and business. Where are you at in launching GFL?
I'm jabbing at getting the right people in my corner so that I can jump in the arena with my best shot.
Why might someone want to give a pair GFL gloves to someone they know, who is fighting an illness or who just won a battle with cancer, rather than other gestures like flowers or balloons?
GLOVES FOR LOVE never die or deflate.

Ask everyone they know if they are fighting something. Ask them how they would feel if they had a constant reminder of Motivation, Inspiration and Well Power.
Besides individuals, how can other businesses or organizations use gloves for making others' lives better?
I can market the gloves for a specific organization. In the past, I have designed GFL center pieces for Relay for Life and raffled them off. The people that won them raved and commented on what a difference they made in their lives.
Since you are just launching and do not yet have a website for people to visit, how can they learn even more about GFL and see more pictures of your work?
