Succeeding in Challenging Times: May 25-26 Retreat at the Grand Isle Lake House
The Preservation Trust of Vermont is offering a series of retreats for groups who are undertaking community development and historic preservation initiatives.
Succeeding in Challenging Times is primarily a fundraising retreat, but will also be helpful to those who are beginning to organize a new project and for those who have been at it for awhile, but are struggling to keep motivated and involve others.
The retreat will be structured around individual project case studies. Each group is invited to tell the group about their project and to hear feedback and recommendations about how to move forward.
Succeeding in Challenging Times includes a workshop by veteran fundraising consultant, Christine Graham. In addition to compiling the Directory of Foundations, currently available on the Vermont Community Foundation website, Christine has published numerous articles, books and other excellent resources that we frequently recommend for community groups. Christine will be with us for the full retreat to help provide ideas tailored to each case study. Click here for more information about Christine Graham. |
