Greetings!
Rounding Third....
It is hard to believe we are wrapping up the 3rd Quarter of 2011; maybe that is because we at the Economic Development Division have been so busy this year, we haven't had time to check the calendar.
This edition of our electronic newsletter will bring you up to speed on some of the projects we've recently completed and some that are in the pipeline. We start off with the recent announcement that Omnicare will bring almost 500 jobs to the Cincinnati Central Business District and grow from there.
You will learn about and a new company in Cincinnati, DotLoop, and how their decision to move into the city was confirmed with the support of an incentive package approved by City Council in the past month.
International investment in Cincinnati came into focus with the opening and dedication of Eurostampa North America's new specialty printing facility on Seymour Road in Bond Hill.
Cincinnati's commitment to Green Building Construction took a giant leap forward with the recent LEED Gold certification attained by the Great American Tower at Queen City Square.
We are especially happy to introduce our new Commercial Buildings and Sites page on our award winning website, www.choosecincy.com/properties.
It's been another challenging year as we all work through the uncertainties of the credit crunch, lingering recession and high unemployment numbers across our region and nation. But, thanks to the diligence and hard work of the Economic Development Division staff, we are making progress and keeping Cincinnati on the move.
Until next time,
Patrick Ewing

DotLoop Expanding In Cincinnati
| |
DotLoop serves the residential real estate market by providing a web-based, virtual workspace that lets users create, adjust, approve, and electronically sign documents and contracts in one seamless, online environment. The company, founded in 2008, is growing rapidly and needed new office space to accommodate their growth. DotLoop evaluated its options and decided that Cincinnati is the best place for them to expand. They are moving to Longworth Hall and will grow to over 70 employees over the next several years. The company's decision to come to Cincinnati was based in part on job creation tax credits provided by the City and State of Ohio. "The DotLoop team applauds the efforts that the City of Cincinnati is taking to facilitate innovation and growth in our community." according to Austin Allison, CEO of DotLoop. "By empowering people's ideas here, the City of Cincinnati helps spur innovation and growth that inspires our region to become the Silicon Valley of the Midwest."
