Throw a BOLD5 BIRTHday Party!  

Ever want to perform BIRTH in your community? Now's your chance!

On September 5 BOLD turns five and to celebrate we're performing the play BIRTH live from the Museum of Motherhood in New York City and webcasting the play to people all over the world. You have the opportunity to watch the play BIRTH for free from the comfort of your home.  

But wait - it gets better!  

You can also host a BOLD5 BIRTHday Party on Labor Day (or one of the re-broadcast dates in September).  

Just like communities all around the world do when they perform BIRTH you can now Be BOLD and show the webcast of the play to your community and raise money and awareness to make maternity what we all know it can be for mothers. All you need is an internet connection and a television or screen that can connect to the internet.

We already know many Birth Networks plan to watch BIRTH via webcast. Join them!

If you do want to throw a BOLD5 BIRTHday party here are 5 steps you need to take:

1. Fill out an online application to do BOLD. Indicate you're doing a "performance"  but when we ask you for details be sure to put WEBCAST.   

2. We'd like all these events to be called BOLD5 BIRTHday Parties! BOLD's website must be on all promotional materials and if possible our logo.  

3. You can do the party as a fundraiser or not. Either way there is no payment fee if you're doing the free webcast so ignore payment for the performance. (Yay!) 

4. Everyone who attends your webcast must regsiter for the webcast. This gives BOLD an accurate picture of how many people are viewing the webcast. They can register at: www.GetBOLDaboutBirth.com (If people show up who have not registered please have a computer available and encourage them to register when they pay to attend your webcast). 

5. Once you're registered we'll send you an evaluation form for the organizer to fill out and also a viewers evaluation form. Please give this out to everyone viewing the performance and then mail it back to us.
