I recently had a situation where a client whom I had read for, emailed the next day to tell me she was disappointed with the reading. Eeeeeeeeeeek! The range of emotions I went through was many - anger to despair to shame, etc, etc. It was horrible. But as I always tell my Thetahealing students - when "stuff" comes up in your life - don't judge it as bad, instead see it as another opportunity to heal. UG! 

I did some self healing work, both ThetaHealing and Reiki, and asked Creator what to do. He said she needed to be heard. (Oh ya, I thought of just deleting the email. Certainly not my proudest moment, but true.) I let it sit for a while, did more healing work, then would ask again. Same answer. She needed to be heard. But I didn't want to hear it...not yet anyway. More healing work.

A couple days later I asked again. Same answer. OK, I asked him to help me understand that, so I could truly hear her, with an open heart. He showed me examples in my own life when I didn't feel heard - and how frustrating that was. In those situations I didn't even need the other person to agree with me, I just needed to know they "heard" me. Ahhhhhh! Now I totally understood what he was saying. So I did it. I allowed my heart to hear her.  

We all need validation that other people hear us, understand us, love us, support us. Yes it is most important for those to come from within first, but we also need them from others. And of course, in order to receive them, we must be willing to give them.  

As with all experiences we are willing to allow with an open heart, I am a better person for it.
