A couple weeks ago I was listening to the CD set of Sonia Choquette's "Ask Your Guides" while driving. Throughout the book she talks of many different types of guides we have helping us at all times.
In my drive the three she spoke of were the Healer Guides, the Teacher Guides and the Joy Guides. After she described each one she made suggestions of what to ask them for.
I took her suggestions and I asked my Healer Guides to assist me with a health issue that I needed more help with, I asked my Teacher Guides to bring another student to a course I was running in the next week, and I asked my Joy Guides to bring me a present by the end of the day.
Imagine my surprise when I got home later that day to find an email from an acquaintance suggesting a new modality that, after she had a session, said my name kept popping into her head. She didn't know the health issue I was dealing with, but following her gut instinct she emailed to tell about her experience. WOW!
Then the next email in my Inbox was a woman signing up for the course I had asked my Teacher guides to bring another student to. Incredible!
Then, about an hour later, my husband returned home from his weekend trip to Red Deer and had brought me a present of a CD from my favorite Edmonton folk singer! Fantastic!
I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I was, and am, for the reminder from Sonia to ask for help. Although I know how important it is to ask for help from the spirit world. I can also get caught up in the human stuff and forget to ask. This experience was a great reminder to get back on track and Ask! Ask! Ask!
Don't worry if you don't know all the types of Guides that Sonia speaks about. Just ask for whatever you need. You can call them whatever you want, I usually refer to them as my "team" or you can say, "hey guys I need some help" or just "Guides please bring me..." Whatever works and feels most comfortable for you.

When I want to ask my Angels for help do I need to call them by name? Or how am I supposed to acknowledge them?

Great question!
No you do not need to call your Angels by name. You can just say "Angels please help me with ..." and list what you want help with.
If you know their names then by all means call them by name, but if not don't worry about it.
The most common advice given from an Angel during a reading to their loved one is to ask for help more often! Your Angels can only help if you ask - so be sure to ask, ask, ask! Nothing is too big or too small.
