SFAz Receives $10 Million to Stimulate Research and Education




Arizona is providing $10 million in federal stimulus funds to Science Foundation Arizona.  The funds, provided through the Governor's Office of Economic Recovery, reinforces the State's commitment to supporting Research grants and STEM Education initiatives.




Science Foundation Arizona and a prestigious group of scientific and community organizations hosted a "Star Party" in Flagstaff to promote science and math education by engaging students with a hands-on opportunity to observe the skies with telescopes the students built themselves.
