Country Papercraft
Mid Monthly Newsletter
May, 2011
Greetings!
Yay! The online shop is back up and running smoothly again - now that the nasty virus was removed from the computer and then the host corrected the address for the shop, so it is all now smooth sailing again.

There are signs of rain here in the wheatbelt of WA, which is bringing smiles to the faces of the farmers who are receiving rain and there are tractors moving in paddocks everywhere.  Fingers crossed this is just the start of a good season.

If you are stuck for ideas on scrapping during these cold winter months, don't forget to check out the BLOG on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for the Designer set challenges, a good starting base to help get you out of a scrapping rut.

Until next time...

We have changed the format of the newsletters, taking the stress of the Designers creating layouts for so many different categories.  We will now be posting the usual Designer Challenges on the BLOG - We will still be giving out prize vouchers for those who create layouts using the blog challenges, weekend challenges, and the kit challenge - So don't forget to get your layouts into the gallery by the end of each month to be in the running for a voucher.

The Designers still wish to be challenged each month by using up their stash and showcasing new products available in the online store.  This month the challenge was to use up our Cosmos Cricket Ranges along with Rub On Transfers - all those left over sheets that only have 1 or two transfers or letters on...

ALWAYS - created by Rach

Rach uses Bella's Ruby Rock-It Le Jardin Range, and couldn't decide which Rub ons she wanted to use, so used the whole packet to create a layout full of encouragement for her daughter.

DOUBLE PLUGGER - created by Michelle

Michelle uses some Cosmos Cricket's Get Happy Range, along with many Kaiser, 7Gypsies, and Scrapbook King Rub ons to create this layout about the amount of "double pluggers" left at the back door every day.

SLICE OF HEAVEN - created by Michelle F

Michelle uses Cosmos Cricket's De Lovely to create this colourful layout about her "slice of heaven" a pedicure.

MAGICAL - created by Michelle F

Michelle uses a rub on transfer in 2 places - she used the word Magical from the rub on quote on her photograph, then replaced the word using Carolee's Creations Alpha in the quote - for a very simple but effective use of a rub on.

KRISTY - created by Barbie

Barbie uses Cosmos Cricket's Pixie-Licious range of papers, and rub ons to create this layout of her daughter.

Now it's up to you to submit your stash challenge layout to the gallery to go into the running for the end of the month prize voucher.
