So what do you think of the new look? I thought it was about time that we had an updated look here at Country Papercraft's Newsroom.
Something that is a little more pleasant on the eye - and shows off the Designers Layouts in all their glory!
Something new that is happening on the blog - for every challenge that is linked to the blog or put into our gallery {BLOG CHALLENGES, NEWSLETTER CHALLENGES, WEEKEND CHALLENGES etc} we will be putting all the names together at the end of each month and randomly drawing out a name. That person will then win a voucher to spend at Country Papercraft. How cool is that!

USING UP YOUR STASH CHALLENGE
We as Scrapbookers tend to buy more than we use and often have way too many products in our stash. So as Designers we have made the pledge to use up some of our ever increasing stashes.
This month we are focusing on using up our KAISER products.

DESIGNER CHALLENGE
This month's Designer Challenge was to create a layout using a RECIPE CHALLENGE.
Being given a list of items to scrap with is not as easy as one would think, but it is a great way to start of a layout.
This edition's RECIPE CHALLENGE was to create a layout using at least 3 of the following items.
1. Doodling
2. Red,
White and Blue
3. An Animal
4. The word 'Celebrate'
5. Four
words in the Title
6. A double pager

Lee uses the Jenni Bowlin Paper from March's Kit, which ties in the RED WHITE & BLUE ingredient from the Challenge.

Country Papercraft's wrap up!
At the moment it is all abuzz at the bricks and mortar store! The 'Barracks' are being renovated to be ready for the April Retreat. Check out the photos on the blog of the hard work being done.

WEEKEND CHALLENGES
Have you checked out the Weekend Challenges in the FORUM yet? Each Friday Night one of the Designers will be issuing a challenge for you to complete over the weekend. Something that we hope will get your creative juices flowing.
This week's challenge was set by Michelle. She challenged us to use the same photo on two layouts. The challenge was to pick two completely different focal points.
