Leonie Challenges you....
Using up your Stash
Hi

A bright and happy good morning to you all!

Did you enjoy the 4 day long weekend? I hope that you were spoilt with lots of chocolate from the Easter Bunny, I know he certainly was in the good books in this house!

How much scrapping did you get done over the long weekend? I hope you were able to get through some of your stash, in an effort to make room for some of the gorgeous new stuff that is arriving at the SHOP.

Until next time....

Stay safe 'n' happy scrapping

SCRAPPIN' AT THE ROCK

With the Shop now up and running, Marg is able to cater for mini retreats more often, rather than a couple of large camps twice a year.  This means there are more times available for you to choose to attend a Scrapping Retreat at Country Papercraft.

Marg has dates available, so why not grab a group of friends, and chose a date that suits you and scrap for the whole weekend.  Any one who attends one of the scrap retreats always come away learning something new, making new friends, and having a whole lot of fun.

Surprise Designer Competition

Each month one lucky shopper is chosen as a Surprise Designer.  It is simple to enter, all you have to do is register in the FORUM and then place an order in 2 consecutive months.  There is no limit to the amount you spend each month, just place an order. Each month one lucky shopper is chosen and when they receive their order in the mail they will receive a Surprise Designer Kit.  All you do then is create your layouts, cards, mini albums, what ever you wish to create with your kit.  Unlike the Designer kits you may add whatever elements you wish with the kit to create your layouts.

This Month's Surprise Designer is Robjoy

The Surprise Designer Kits are a limited kit, and only available for a short time.  If you would like to purchase a Kit, please place your order in the comments section of your order, whe

Lest we Forget...

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

With Anzac Day approaching, the Designers were challenge to create a layout that symbolises Australia, and what being Australian means to them.

What would you like to see in the Newsletters? The Designers are always challenging you to create layouts for competitions and challenges, so now is your turn for payback.  The Designers will choose which challenge they would like to do and create layouts for the Newsletter.  So make sure you challenge them HERE, and keep your eye on the Newsletter to see the Designers squirm with your challenges.

Today's Designer Tip

If you have run out of a particular letter in your alphabet stickers, try to improvise by either mixing different stickers for a funky look or sometimes a letter can be changed for example a 3 can become an e or an upside down h can be a y.  Even altering the letter will get you out of a bind, cut the leg off a q or g to create an a (don't throw away the leg, because it can make a c become an e or the looped leg can make a u a y)
Quote Challenge

Quotes are a great source of inspiration, and also an important part of scrapbooking - they can say so much about a layout, a feeling, a moment in time.  Deb will each month be challenging us all to use a particular quote in our scrapbooking.  Even, if at this time you are unable to scrap with the quote, make sure you write them down for a time when inspiration strikes.

This month's quote is:

'As long as we are persistent in our pursuit of our deepest destiny, we will continue to grow. We cannot choose the day or time when we will fully bloom. It happens in its own time.'
- Denis Waitley
