November's Mid Monthly Newsletter
November 15, 2008 |
Hi
The new BRICKS & MORTAR STORE has opened its doors for business!
Although the official opening will not be until early next year. The shop is up and running. And guess what? There's not enough ROOM! There is too much stock to choose from! But it is fantastic that everything can be seen as soon as you walk in the door! And the best thing says Marg - is that it's not the last thing I see at night and the first thing I see in the morning!
Have you checked out the BLOG - we are running a little treasure competition. You have to find all the letters by using the clues given - then work unjumble them to work out the 4 words. The first one to email the words will win a prize pack. You do not have to be a member of the FORUM to take part - simply just check out the BLOG each day for the next clue!
Leonie is running a card a day challenge in the FORUM - so that we can all create our christmas cards ready to send out in time for Christmas. Why not check them out HERE.
UNFORTUNATELY - we have a small issue with the gallery. We are working on getting it fixed. We apologise for this untimely system failure - but that is technology for you. Once again we apologise sincerely!
Until next time....
Stay safe 'n' happy scrapping

Surprise Designer Competition
Each month one lucky shopper is chosen as a Surprise Designer. It is simple to enter, all you have to do is register in the FORUM and then place an order in 2 consecutive months. There is no limit to the amount you spend each month, just place an order. Each month one lucky shopper is chosen and when they receive their order in the mail they will receive a Surprise Designer Kit. All you do then is create your layouts, cards, mini albums, what ever you wish to create with your kit. Unlike the Designer kits you may add whatever elements you wish with the kit to create your layouts.
Unfortunately with Camp and settling into the NEW shop - this month's Surprise Designer Kit Competiton was overlooked. |

When stamping with either clear or rubber stamps - make sure you take the ink to the stamp - not vice versa. This helps to stop your ink running over your stamp. Therefore leaving you with a clear crisp impression when you stamp. |

Quote Challenge
Quotes are a great source of inspiration, and also an important part of scrapbooking - they can say so much about a layout, a feeling, a moment in time. Deb will each month be challenging us all to use a particular quote in our scrapbooking. Even, if at this time you are unable to scrap with the quote, make sure you write them down for a time when inspiration strikes.
This month's quote is:
"Do what you can, with what you have, where you are." -Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919), 26th U.S. President
MUMMIFICATION {Tassie Style} - created by Deb
Deb uses some of the Basic Grey OFF BEAT range, including alphabet stickers and die cuts. She also uses Carolee's Creations Alphabet Stickers
