Spring is in the Air
Hi

Welcome to the mid monthly newsletter for September.  Oh my goodness, where is the year just flying off too??

School holidays are on the horizon for most of us, although some are lucky already to be having theirs.  Do you have plans for the holidays?  I am hoping to go for a drive a little further north of here to have a looksee at the wildflowers in full bloom - perfect opportunity for some more photos.

The shop is nearing completion - with the paint going on the outside now, and the ceiling and internal fitting remaing to be fitted.  All on track so that when we get home from Scrapping at the Rock at the end of October - we should just be able to unpack all the stuff from camp directly into the shop.  Then look out for the big opening!

The Designers have been busy over the past two weeks creating beautiful layouts, not only for our newsletter but also to feature in the A2Z newsletter, which you will see further down in this edition. You should add some of these chipboard products to your next order - they are fabulous and there is something to suit nearly every layout/photo.

Until next time....

Stay safe 'n' happy scrapping

Surprise Designer Competition

Each month one lucky shopper is chosen as a Surprise Designer.  It is simple to enter, all you have to do is register in the FORUM and then place an order in 2 consecutive months.  There is no limit to the amount you spend each month, just place an order. Each month one lucky shopper is chosen and when they receive their order in the mail they will receive a Surprise Designer Kit.  All you do then is create your layouts, cards, mini albums, what ever you wish to create with your kit.  Unlike the Designer kits you may add whatever elements you wish with the kit to create your layouts.

This month's lucky Surprise Designer is Mrs Frizz - all the way from New Zealand!

Today's Designer Tip

Store your versacolour and versamagic inks in one of those plastic files with a handle, from the cheap shop.  As the folders are clear you can easily see everything inside them and they are easy to store the ink pads upside down, and just flip the file over when you want to use one so ypu choose the right one

With the end of the winter sports rounding up to a finish, we thought that it would be a perfect time to create some sporting themed layouts to encourage you to scrap all those winter sport photos.

Quote Challenge

Quotes are a great source of inspiration, and also an important part of scrapbooking - they can say so much about a layout, a feeling, a moment in time.  Deb will each month be challenging us all to use a particular quote in our scrapbooking.  Even, if at this time you are unable to scrap with the quote, make sure you write them down for a time when inspiration strikes.

This month's quote is:

"We do not remember the days,
We remember the moments."
