Greetings!

Welcome to our new format newsletter.  We hope you enjoy the new style.
This weekend is Scrapping at the Rock's March 08 Camp.  So everyone is busy preparing for camp, and for the CYBER CROP in the forum.
The Designer's have been busy creating challenges for themselves.  As well as they are having HAPPY HOUR SALES whilst the boss is busy at camp.  Keep your eyes open for details in the newsletter.
We also feature our second SURPRISE DESIGNER in this issue.  Don't forget to Register in the forum if you wish to take part.

Scrapping at the Rock Cyber Crop
Is on this weekend in the FORUM! Join in from Friday afternoon until midnight Sunday night for challenges and competitions.  The Designers are selling off some of the products in store during the weekend, so make sure you set your alarms to remind you of the times so that you don't miss out on any of the bargains. 
 
Marg has kindly allowed you to send your order in for each sale, but do not pay for it until she has gone through each order and checked on supplies - who knows they may sell out at camp.  If you just send your orders in, you will be invoiced at the end of the weekend sales.
The only stipulation is that you must send your order through in the hour that the product is on sale and you must put the time in WST time in the comments section.
Check out what the Designers are offering and the times to keep your eyes open for the sales.
Sketch Challenge
This week the Designers challenge each other to use a sketch. 
 
Sketches are a great starting place for creating layouts. You can be as creative or follow the sketch to the letter when you create your layout.  You are able to turn the layout to suit your photos and add or remove elements of the sketch.
 
There are many places online to find sketches to use for inspiration, or simply just create your own.
 
To make the sketch more of a challenge the Designers stipulated that the layout could only contain sport themed photographs.
 
Here is what they came up with.

Michelle has turned the sketch 90 degrees to suit her rowing photos.
 
PUTTING FOR GOLD - created by Deb
 
Deb had used the sketch as seen.  Using a great blue combination using photos of her son's recent GOLD MEDAL in the Shot Putt in Little Athletics.
 
 
BASKETBALL - created by Leonie
 
Leonie has also turned the sketch to the side.  She has not used all the embellishments as shown on the sketch.
 
It is easy to use sketchs, and as you can see from the examples from the Designers, no two sketches interpretations are ever the same.

This layout is a double whammy by Leonie, created to suit both the March Sketch Challenge and Sharon's Design Team Challenge.
 
 
 
 

Moving house uncovers some fantastic treasures as Deb discovered recently.  Uncovering these baby photos of her son. What a fantastic find!

And now they are beautifully scrapped as they should be.
