CLUB MEETING WRAP-UP
We had a great showing at REI last week and Winston from the Chris Carmichael Training System gave a very thorough and detailed presentation on maintaining your cycling strength through the winter months. It was very well received and a dozen or so members went down to Bacaro afterwards to enjoy pizza and refreshments.
Thanks again to Winston for putting on such a good presentation and watch for his helpful hints in the newsletter in the future. If you have a question about training please email us at info@bouldercyclingclub.org and we'll have Winston answer it in future newsletters.

CYCLE-SHOTS: Boulder Cup Cyclocross Stack-up

This year's Boulder Cup cyclocross race saw a new location at Flatiron Mall in Broomfield. Part of the course at the north side of the mall took place on a steep grassy slope. The slope proved to be a slippery challenge on a particular corner. On the first lap of the woman's pro-race a racer slid out, causing those following close behind to fall over. Fortunately, nobody was hurt and the ladies recovered quickly to continue the competition.
