Notes from the Prez:
Due to the nasty weather this week we decided to wait till next week to launch the Noontime NCAR Repeat Ride. Starting next Tuesday, November 16th, we will meet at the NW corner of the King Soopers parking lot at the Table Mesa Shopping Center at noon and do NCAR repeats (up to NCAR and then down and back up and down etc.) The road is finished and the addition of a bike lane on the way up and a nicely paved road should make it a much more enjoyable experience! We will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the winter months weather permitting. Note we will not ride when it is wet, snowing or below 40 degrees. Also, not when it falls on a holiday, for instance Thanksgiving. Dress appropriately! The meeting at REI is next Thursday November 18 meeting at 7:00 at the REI community room. We will be discussing future rides and plans for 2011 and have a special guest speaker from Chris Carmichael Training Systems giving a presentation on Maintain and Gain - off season training tips and recommendations. Afterwards we will be heading down to Bacaro Restaurant to enjoy some pizza and liquid refreshments so come on out and learn some great information and see some of the members you've ridden with throughout the year.
Keep Riding!
