Congrats to Kelsey!

On another note we'd like to congratulate ride leader Steve Crider on the success of his daughter Kelsey as she celebrated her 21st birthday last Sunday. It's been almost a year since she received her kidney transplant from a living donor and it has been successful , so now she is able to live a normal life. The article was on the front page of the Daily Camera and for more information click here.  Steve is a big supporter of the living organ donor program and as you can see in this case it literally saved his daughter's life!

For more information on the becoming a donor go to www.coloradodonorregistry.org

We have been working with Bob Matter and Assisted Cycling Tours (Bike trips for individuals with development and physical disabilities) for several years now and this year Bob has put together a Pedal for Your Cause ride to raise money for the nonprofit organization. The unique aspect of Bob's organization is that they utilize tandem bikes enabling those that might not be able to ride a bike on their own the opportunity to do so.

The Boulder Cycling Club is a non-profit organization managed by volunteers.  Our mission is to create a more livable community by promoting health & recreation through bicycle activities, advocacy, & education. The BCC provides a safe and social alternative to the competitive riding style of most clubs.   We are more about fun than competition.  Our rides are no-drop tours that leave you time to look at the scenery and chat a bit.
