Dear Club Riders:
Note that we will be riding this week!
(weather permitting = no
rain) Is it me or do you feel like we've been transported to the
great Northwest this Spring?
Tuesday and Thursday Rides now meet at
5:45 pm with a departing time of 6:00 pm.
Saturday Ride is the same at 9:15 am
and leaving at 9:30 am from Bicycle Village.
There will be a ride this Sunday meeting at
8:30 am at Amantes Coffee Shop on N Broadway.
A quick shout out of thanks to the members that volunteered at the Bicycle Village Warehouse Sale this weekend.
Be aware I'm getting reports of stepped up police presence on some of the more popular routes and cyclists being ticketed.
I'm sure it's a response from some of the negative press in regards to the Bike Safety Bill. I especially noticed a stronger presence on the Jamestown route and also the Olde Stage / Lee Hill intersection.Remember the Boulder Cycling Club stresses Safety and obeying the rules of the road.
Let's hope for dry riding weather and I'll see you out on the road.
