Note from the President...
This month's monthly meeting is tonight at 7 p.m. at REI will be our last one for the season
as we take a break for the riding season and start back up again in
the fall.
One of our presenters is Anne Dirkse who will give a slide
presentation of her solo 5 week cycling trip this past winter through Central America. Looks like it will be a good night to stay inside and check out warm tropical scenes!
She was one of our most popular speakers last year and were
looking forward to hearing and seeing all about her latest trip. For
more information on her trip click on the following link which is a
feed from a story on CNN.com. It starts about 3 minutes into the feed. See below for more.
Also on tap is Scott Christopher from Bicycle Colorado one of the
largest cycling advocacy groups in the state. A lot has been happening
behind the scenes lately and it will be very interesting to see how
everything is going in the world of cycling advocacy.
The club wants to thank our newest sponsor Allstate Insurance and
especially Catherine Davis for her generous support of the club. I can
personally recommend Catherine and have referred her to my clients for
many years now.
