Issue: #22 August/2008
Hi Everybody,

Last week's stormy weather put a dampener on Thursday and Saturday rides. Let's make up some riding this week! Remember if your riding the Tour de Cure this weekend we will be riding as a team even though we are riding at different distances! Come by the promo table and say hi.
For specific details click here.

As an incentive to "cram" some extra riding in this week for my own training for the Tour de Cure we will ride Wednesday night out of Amantes in North Boulder at 6:00pm and do a Hygiene loop going out 36 to St. Vrain and back via 75th.
If your interested in joining me email me directly.

The Buff Classic is coming up and if your planning on riding in it please join under the Boulder Cycling Club team.

One of our members,Michelle,  is out riding her mountain bike a lot these days and looking for other women interested in an intermediate ride level to join her. If you're interested email me  and I'll get you in contact with her.

Get out there and RIDE!!!

Meet at Amantes North at 5:30 PM. Join ride leaders Marie and Patrick on a hill climb to Jamestown.  We'll head up 36, turn on Lefthand Canyon road, and take the classic route to Jamestown.  It's probably the easiest mountain climb in the Boulder area and is suitable for all road bike riders especially intermediate road bike riders or folks new to road biking.  Pace will be 15mph to 18mph on the flats and quite a bit slower on the climb.  The BCC has a "no drop policy" meaning we will wait up for you so long as you are willing to complete the ride.
