Hi Everybody,   There are lots of rides this week so I hope you can get out and join us on a ride or two!

OUR SPECIAL NEW RIDE!

I can't think of a better way to spend a Sat then enjoying two of my favorite pastimes Cycling and Eating! Hope you can come out and join us. Click here for more info. If you are planning on attending please email us  at donald@bouldercyclingclub.com so we can have a count for the restaurant.

TOUR DE CURE TRAINING
If your looking for something a little more challenging here's one for you road bikers: A tune up training ride for the Tour de Cure will be held this Saturday meeting at Bicycle Village. See Below for details. One of our members and a committee chairperson for the Tour de Cure, Todd, has done a great job of putting together a great jersey for out Boulder Cycling Club Tour de Cure team.

TDC JERSEY AVAILABLE
If your interested in a Tour de Cure jersey the cost is only $40.00 and they are way cool---- check out the photo's of me in my very own! If you've signed up for the team we would like to ride together in groups depending on the distance you feel comfortable at. For instance I'll be riding the 50 K so I can get back to man the promotion booth for the club at the event.

VOLUNTEER
Speaking of which,  if anyone is interested in helping work the table we 'd love to have you. It will be a premier event with up to 2200 cycling participants so it will be an excellent place to promote the club. The Tour de Cure  date is August 23 and the time frame is app. 11:00 to 5:00 so if you interested in working an hour or two please email me at donald@bouldercyclingclub.com. Come on out and ride and support a great cause!

Tonight we will ride app. 15 miles along bike trails, some roads and some gravel trails. We head north toward North Boulder then around Wonderland Lake and on to Downtown Boulder where we will pick up the Boulder Creek trail and head back to the Brewery to enjoy a well deserved cold beverage and food is also available. Join us for the BCC 5:30 PM Tuesday social road bike ride at the Boulder Brewery. Tonight, ride leader Patrick we'll be taking the group to Louisville. It's an intermediate road bike ride at a 15-18mph pace.  The pace is fast enough for exercise, but shouldn't make you keel over!  The objective is a good work out and to build camaraderie.

Approximate distance is 25-30 miles.  We'll return to the Boulder Brewery by 8:00 PM.  After the ride stick around and enjoy something to eat and/or drink.  The food is good and the drinks are cold!  This is a no drop social ride, meaning we will wait up for you.  Please make sure your bike is in good mechanical condition--including properly inflated tires.  Remember to bring your helmet, spare tube, and water bottle.  This is a great ride to get a little exercise and socialize after a long day. It's a great ride if you are new to road biking!
