(shown at right); Lance Streetman, director, and Shane Strickland, technical director, of the LU 72 and MCAG Apprenticeship School; Phillip LaPorte of Georgia State University, who served as master of ceremonies during the conference (below right); and Helen Parker, regional administrator for the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration (below left).

Other sessions on the conference program focused on the Department of Labor's ten-year employment projections; wellness at the workplace, dispute resolution, and job creation. In addition, workshop topics included labor law, job training, safety and health, and the economy.
The Georgia Labor Management Conference provides a relaxed setting in which labor and management can meet to explore issues impacting the workplace.
