OnTheJob website


Click here to see On The Job redesigned website with improved viewing of current and previous shows. Each show is cataloged on the website in comprehensive lists, and you can easily find and obtain your favorite On The Job show. Shows can be downloaded to your computer and  shared with others.

You may also comment on each show viewed online. Click the link in the left column and insert your comments, questions and suggestions about On The Job.

You also may subscribe and watch On The Job through iTunes. Download current and past episodes and watch them in your iTunes program or put them on your iPod or iPhone. By subscribing to the free podcast you can also have each new episode waiting for you each time you open iTunes.

On The Job availability has expanded on television. Alabama Public Television is set to air the show on Sunday, March 29, at 12:30 p.m.

WSFA-TV in Montgomery welcomes On The Job to its secondary digital channel Weather Plus. The show airs each Tuesday at 8 p.m.

On The Job shows on Weather Plus channels this month are:
March 10: Alabama Fire College
A unique Alabama school is set to train firefighters. From volunteer fire departments around the state to Federal agencies looking for additional training, the Alabama Fire College is a one-stop shop. On The Job spent a day with firefighters at the Fire College to find what they go through any given day to do their job.

March 17: Music Production Troy University and Sound Techs
Troy University is the only four-year university in Alabama providing a degree in Music Industry. On The Job shows how Robert W. Smith's Music Industry program at Troy University can take musical skills from gold to platinum. It also shows how a sound company mixed sound for the BamaJam Music Festival.

March 24: Auburn Pharmacy Program
Auburn University's Harrison School of Pharmacy reaches students through education, outreach and research missions intended to assist improving primary care for Alabama citizens. On The Job team spent the day with one of the leading Pharmacy School's in the country.

March 31: Trenholm Truck Driving
Truck driving education at Trenholm State Technical College in Montgomery teaches students how to drive 18-wheelers, and opens the door for potential students to obtain careers. On The Job team  quickly realized the program is indepth and teaches more than simply  "driving a truck."
