We would like to thank the entire membership for a superb effort in presenting the “pro-jobs, pro-growth” perspective to the members of the Rhode Island General Assembly last Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in the House Finance Committee. Hundreds of you carved out time to go up to the State House to make your views known and felt. Hundreds more made time to write letters to legislators, provide us with appropriate talking points and engage new colleagues by spreading the word. The effort was described by one key lawmaker today as “the most impressive turnout of business leaders in a decade.”
