Taxes, State Budget Focus of Small Business Council Meeting
The Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce Small Business Council focused its February meeting on a candid conversation about the state's budget situation. The group agreed to continue monitoring the issue, with a focus on maintaining many of the tax provisions the Chamber has supported in the past and has also urged opposition to increasing the business entity tax to $1,000.
