Tyler is currently touring with the Emmitt-Nershi Band, but he'll be stopping here in Reno for an afternoon Bluegrass Guitar Workshop followed by a House Concert on Sunday, November 14. The Workshop is open to all levels of players---you just need to have a guitar and be able to change basic chords fluently. Topics covered will be lead solos and bluegrass rhythm techniques. Tickets are $20, either in advance or at the door (but we recommend advance purchase---seating is very limited!). Advance tickets can be purchased here. Bluegrass Guitar Class will meet again in November
Saturday, November 20, 1-5pm. This class will cover the tune, St. Anne's Reel. You'll learn the rhythm (accompaniment) and an "easy" lead as well as an "intermediate" lead. Includes a CD with practice tracks, tablature and individualized "coaching" for all participants. Taught by Cindy Gray, a former Instructor at Steve Kaufman's Acoustic Kamp in Tennessee.
