The Changing Seasons

We lit the woodstove this weekend up here in Virginia City---autumn's in the air!  What a great, fun summer of festivals, meeting new folks, jamming and learning it's been.  Thank you all so very much for supporting traditional music in our area!

The change in seasons brings many changes to scheduled events.  Check our Calendar Page for the many upcoming events, including dances, concerts and workshops.  We are no longer hosting jam sessions, since they were so poorly attended over the last year.  Hopefully that means you're all getting together on your own and making great music.

If you'd like us to crank up the jams again, please complete our survey and let us know.  Or, if you send us notice of other jams (or anything else of interest to traditional music fans), we'll put it in our newsletter and on our Calendar.  Please submit calendar items by the 20th of the month prior.

Bring your ideas---what artists do you want to see us bring for our 2011 Festival?  What workshop topics do you want us to present?   We're here for you, so we want to hear from you!
