On August 23, two months earlier than last year, the CIM
achieved its 2012 full marathon entry limit of 8,000 runners.
The Sacramento Running Association staff and Board sincerely thank our 2012 entrants for choosing the CIM!
For those of you still interested in entering the 2012 CIM full marathon, here are two options:
- A limited number of charity entries are now available for $250 (they are already filling fast). $125 of this entry fee is fully tax deductible, since the Sacramento Running Association (SRA) is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization. The entire $250 entry fee will go directly to the SRA beneficiaries. These include youth fitness programs, running venue development, maintenance and improvement, the American River Parkway, and local, post-collegiate, elite athlete development. Learn more...
- If you can verify that you have achieved the appropriate CIM Entry Standard, you may enter the CIM from October 1 until October 15, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. The Standard Achiever entry fee is $125.
Marathon RELAY Challenge: the team registrations are filling fast. There are fewer than 500 entries still available.
Kaiser Permanente 2.62-mile maraFUNrun: a reminder that the youth (13 years and younger) entries are free only if the children are registered online by November 18 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.
