SRA Sactown There is still time to sign up for this highly individualized coaching program for the Credit Union SACTOWN 10-mile Run (April 1)! Whether this is your first 10-mile race or you are seeking a personal best 10-mile time, this program will help you to improve your running for the rest of the year and beyond! 

  • Meet your coach! Four-time Olympic Marathon Trials Qualifier, Mary Coordt.
  • Each participant will fill out a running bio form to help Coach Mary provide individualized instruction.  
  • Program includes training specific for the 10-mile distance, for the race terrain, pacing skills, running form, injury prevention, nutrition, stretching, question and answer sessions, and more!
  • Program begins February 4 and ends March 28.
  • Twice-a-week workouts are held on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings (this is not an online coaching program).
  • To keep the workouts fun and interesting, workout locations on the American River Parkway will vary.
  • Included at no extra cost is a Nutrition Seminar by Coach Mary Coordt, who also has a Masters in Science in Nutrition. Information ranges from basic tips on healthy eating to the science behind proper fueling for running activities.
  • Total cost for this excellent coaching opportunity is $100.
