Important information for ALL runners: 
  • You must pick up your bib number, timing chip and goody bag
  • at the CIM Sports & Fitness Expo. Details below.
    • Location: Sacramento Convention Center, 1400 J Street, Sacramento
    • Dates & Times: Friday, December 2 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, December 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • You may pick up a race packet for a friend. Bring the bib number and name with you to the Expo.
    • Attend the Friday and Saturday Clinics at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Symposium, featuring guest speaker Greg McMillan, M.S., McMillan Running Company, Inc.
    • Check out all the exhibitors booths and do your Christmas shopping!
  • Live runner tracking will be available again this year.  A prominent link will be posted on the front page of RunCIM.org to access the tracking system.    
  • The CIM Online Store is OPEN!  Check out all the cool items.  These will also be available for purchase at the CIM Sports and Fitness Expo.
  • Some all-important answers to those all-important questions:  
    • Ultima Replenisher flavor is Grape - Yum.
    • GU Gels in an assortment of flavors will be distributed at miles 13, 20 and 23.
    • Yes - you may purchase a bus ticket at the Expo.
    • (We are really hoping there won't be too many of these, but...) relay team changes may be made at the Relay Team solutions desk at the Expo.
    • Clydesdales and Athenas: you must weigh in at the Expo.  Look for the Buffalo Chips Running Club booth.  
    • All awards (top finishers, age division, wheelchair, Clydesdale/Athena,Vision Impaired) are based on GUN time
    • Be sure to check the Loyal Runner Rewards Poster at the Expo to see if you have been approved as a person who qualifies to pick up your award for finishing the CIM 5 times, 10 times, 15 times, 20, times or 25 times. These awards must be picked up after you finish at the Loyal CIM Runners Rewards booth located at the finish line. The loyal runner tent is at the corner of 10th and the traffic circle where the runners exit.  The Loyal Runner awards are not mailed!

    • Packet pick up will be at the maraFUNrun booth located near the entrance of the Sports and Fitness Expo.  Look for the 2.62 balloons.
    • Do you want to cheer on a friend or family member?  Visit our Creation Station, located right in front of the Expo entrance (in the lobby), to create posters of encouragement!
    • Are you a Rivercat's fan? Keep an eye our for Dinger, who will be making a guest appearance at the maraFUNrun!
    • Receive a valuable member benefits package that includes VIP treatment at the 2012 CIM, race discounts, exclusive access to high quality coaching.
    • Limited number of memberships available.
    • Hat or visor presented at the CIM Expo (not mailed) to the first 200 who join by December 1!
