Coming to A City Near You!
Individual iaedp State Chapters have been around since the early 90's. However, they really surged forward when Buck Runyan, Christina Weiss and Nikki Damiani started the Los Angeles Chapter and Orange County Chapters.

This started a ground-swell that seemed to grow over night with some chapters hosting over 70 professionals who are interested in eating disorders.

iaedp Chapters Continue to Grow!

Local iaedp Chapters provide an opportunity to meet with other eating disorder professionals, learn from some of the top people in the field and often, earn continuing education credit. iaedp members are encouraged to start chapters in their area of the country. To date, there are four chapters in California, one in Arizona and one in Illinois. These chapters have been very active and provide education to both professionals and the general public on the subject of eating disorders.

After a successful fundraiser last winter, the California chapters will host Dr. Anita Johnston, author of "Eating in the Light of the Moon". Dr Johnston will present several workshops in southern California this June, sponsored by the local chapters.

iaedp has chapter guidelines and will help members organize a local group. It's a great way to stay connected to your colleagues and learn about the advancements in eating disorder treatment.
