" America The Beautiful" Film Documentary
This socially probing and critically acclaimed documentary explores the question, "Does America have an unhealthy obsession with beauty?"
The film takes us on an inspirational and informative journey through the fashion world, cosmetics, diet pill, pharmaceutical and plastic surgery industries. The film also addresses how these industries influence our expectations of women, and how they affect women and girls struggling with eating disorders, self-esteem issues, and depression.
Join filmmaker, Darryl Roberts and iaedp's Carolyn Costin and Dr. Wendy Oliver-Pyatt for a live discussion following the film.
