Are You Planning on Traveling Out of the Country This Year?

Are you starting to make your travel plans this year?  Will you be leaving the country?

International Medical Insurance works just like what you are used to in the states.  Having to need the services of medical professionals in foreign country leaves a lot of concerns.  Are the hospitals, doctors, and auxiliary services up to our standards?  Can they speak and understand fluent English?  What are their credentials to treat disease or injury?  With Internation Medical Insurance as we provide from International Medical Group (IMG), the worries are laid aside.  IMG has officers in their countries they serve and they make sure that the medical staffs they recommend are just like the ones we use in this country.  You have the benefit of good service in which will help speed up your recovery.  They also offer medical lift services back to your friendly USA surrounds.

Mrs. Stewart and I will be using IMG for our vacation this year and we hope you do the same.  Oh, P.S- for those of you who do business or student travel, this would be a great benefit for your peace of mind and comfort.

Go to our website for more information (choose below if you are an individual or a group looking for international insurance).  Feel free to contact us for a free quote.

Some Tips on Foreign Travel
Remember watching movies there was always one in a crowd using a "money belt" of some kind to hide contraband.  Well, we don't recommend it for that reason but we do recommend a money belt to keep your passport and currency safe.  Speaking of currency, I always get currency for the country or countries I am going to just for emergency purposes or paying tips.  Guard your credit cards.  Many countries are using these card scanner systems so always keep your other credit cards and wallets away from these scanners.

Leave a copy of your itinerary with a relative or close friend just in case something happens.  For air travel, dress so that those aiport scanning go quickly.  You are most probably going to be over night on an oceanic flight so be sure to dress comfortably.  Don't wear a lot of jewelry or clothing which is hard to remove.  The lighter the better on that airplane ride.  An overnight bag with essentials is a good idea and if you are on prescriptions, make sure you have those along with you.  Foreign drugs may not be quite the same.

Above all, have an IMG foreign major medical policy in force with you.  That will relieve any concern about finding a pharmacy etc. you may need.  Click here to read more about IMG.

We're Making Purchasing Insurance EASIER For You!

There was a recent article we read, which is included in our newsroom articles below, about how Sear's has hit a major downfall by announcing they will be closing up to 120 Sears and Kmart stores this year.  This is primarily due to not being able to keep up with some of the other "big box retailers", one of those being Amazon.com.  The author of the article, Corey Dahl, further explains how Sears has made it harder for customers to shop there while some of the more popular stores, such as Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Kohl's or Target (seeing how you can find almost any of these on any street corner).  The biggest move the company ever made was the Sears Catalogue, which was years ago.  Since then, not much has changed.

Dahl compares Sears to the life insurance industry and how you do not see the typical door-to-door salesman like you do not see the Sears catalogue anymore.  However, unlike Sears, life insurance companies are finding better ways to make it easier for you, as the consumer, to find more information on products you hope to purchase.

Here at Stewart's Insurance Depot, we are working diligently to ease this process for you.  Almost everything you research or purchase can be done online, and we are following that trend by adding more features to our website.  We have recently added a free Term-Life Quote engine that you can access 24/7.  With this form, all you have to do is enter your personal information, how much insurance you want, and what schedule you want your premium payments to be.  Once you submit this information, a list of provides and an estimate of what your premium payments will be will display on the screen for you.  your next step is to request an application that will automatically be sent to us.  How easy is that?  So go ahead and get started today to get your FREE quote for term life insurance. Read more about life insurance by clicking here.

How Our Business Can Help Your Business

We are a huge supporter of local businesses that we have good relationships with; always have been and always will be.  As you can see on this newsletter and previous newsletters, we have a list of businesses and their contact information for our viewers to have access to.  We further show our appreciation for our close business relationships with our developing video page on our website; where businesses can either send us a video that we will upload to our website, or our crew will go out and film a video at their business.  These are all services we provide for free!

In a recent article "The Buddy System" written by Ed McCarthy, CFP, he tells the importance of building your business by forming strategic alliances with other professionals.  By building this strong relationship with other businesses, you can hopefully expect the referrals to roll in.  This is a win-win situation for both parties.  By developing a strong relationship with us, we can guarantee that we will help get the word out about your business to our current and potential clients (whether be on our website, in our newsletters, or simply by word of mouth).

Contact us today so we can start building and creating referrals for each other.  If you would like your contact information added to our newsletter or a video added on our website, feel free to give us a call or email us right away!
