With Thanksgiving occuring at the end of this month, I wanted to take the time to give thanks to you for being a part of Stewart's Insurance Depot and taking a look at our newsletter.

 Give Thanks to Your Health | |
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we encourage you to take time to give thanks to your health with these Timely Health Tips:
Tip 1: Schedule a colonoscopy.
Tip 2: Exercise. Simply walking around a block or two everyday in your neighborhood does wonders!
Tip 3: Drink plenty of water.
Tip 4: Make sure you eat healthy meals every day.
Tip 5: Cut down on the "munchies"!

REMINDER: Annual Election Period Deadline |
 The Annual Election Period (AEP) for Medicare beneficiaries ends December 7, 2011. This deadline is important for anyone who is already enrolled or would like to be enrolled in a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan or Medicare Advantage Plan and may want to change plans for January 1st, 2012 year.
For those who are currently enrolled: Any changes you want to make to your current plan must be completed before the Dec. 7th deadline or else you will be locked in to your current plan for 2012.
If you have any questions about your current plan, please contact us as soon as possible so that you do not miss the deadline! |

For your year-end review of your care, we want to ask you to ask yourself a few simple questions:
1) Do I have the right deductible, coinsurance and plan for my major medical insurance? 2) Life insurance; is my current benefit at least six times my yearly income? 3) Do I have protection to cover extended care so my family can continue with their lives? 4) Do I have an annuity in my retirement portfolio?
