    Tapping Tips 

    Stress & The Fear of Consequences
     
    Most of us are dealing with some level of stress on a daily basis. If we take a moment to think about it, we may realize that fears or limiting beliefs add to the stressful discomfort we experience both physically and emotionally.  A major one tends to be the fear of some consequence.  Consider the possibility that while tapping on the following may not change the circumstances, it may ease the stress allowing you to go with the flow with more ease and grace. 
     
    Focus on related specifics - or tap globally to see what this brings to mind to allow you to become more specific.  And as always, adjust the words to best suit your situation...

    Set Up - at Karate Chop or Sore Spot: 
     
    Even though I am caught in this fear of consequences, I am choosing peace of mind and clarity anyway. 
     
    Even though these time constraints have me fearful of consequences, I am choosing clarity and peace of mind, trusting and believing in me now.
     
    Even though a part of me is convinced that my world could fall apart if I don't get it done fast enough, I choose to relax and move through this with clarity and peace of mind.
     
    Even though I am so wound up I can't imagine it, I am willing to consider the possibility that maybe I could relax and dance or play my way through this.
     
    Sequence:
     
    Top of Head:
      All this fear and uneasiness, all these concerns
     
    Eyebrow: The wiser part of me knows it will all be okay
    Outside of Eye: All these scary thoughts in my mind
    Under Eye: All this fear I feel in my body
    Under Nose: I am ready to breathe easy
    Chin: Trusting the wiser and calmer part of me
    Collarbone: To guide me through this with ease and grace
    Under Arm: All this fear and frustration, all this concern I feel inside
     
      
    Top of Head: In this moment
    Eyebrow: I am letting it going and relaxing
    Outside of Eye: Knowing I can choose peace
    Under Eye: Choosing peace in this moment
    Under Nose: Choosing to trust and breathe easy
    Chin: Trusting and believing in me now
    Collarbone: Knowing if I allow myself to relax
    Under Arm: I might just dance and play my way through this!
